We do however have a very nice river port, which even comes with a beach. Elb-Beach is the destination for BBQ and after work chill out. Our beach offers two beach clubs, they usually are rather crowded, that´s why innovative people started to open beach clubs in unusual locations in Hamburg. In fact, today we offer more beach clubs that aren´t near the beach, then we offer beach clubs at the beach.

Here´s a few locations you might want to check out during your stay in Hamburg.

Hamburg del Mar and Dock 3 Beach club are located at “St. Pauli Landungsbrücken” on the rooCIMG5108f off a parking lot. You have a beautiful view on the landing bridges for the harbor ferrys and sail boat here. The restaurant offers Italian food and small snacks, the bar offers a large selection of cocktails, you might want to enjoy those in a hammock or a beach chair. Opening hours start are from 11/12 am to 11 pm.

The Sky & Sand beach club is the latest location that joined the beach club family in Hamburg. It´s located on the roof of the mall “Hamburger Meile”. You´ll find yourself sitting in a chair, your feet in the sand, a cold drink in your hand in 40 meters hight. The Hamburg Airport is near by, so instead of boat spotting, plane spotting is the thing here.

Right by the harbor and across from the docks you´ll find StrandPauli, the name is a mix between the German word for beach and the district the bar is located in. St. Pauli, one of the most popular party districts in Germany. The beach club offers breakfast, starting at 11 am and cold drinks throughout the day.

If you´re into breakfast AND a real beach, you´re welcome to visit “Ahoi Strandkiosk” and “Strandperle”. Those two are the only bars by the beachCIMG5107. Their opening hours are customer friendly, they start at 8 am and are open till 10 pm. Both bars are rather small and casual. You can sit on their patios, but its OK to bring your drink to the beach. Both beach clubs offer snacks and ice cream.

No matter what you prefer, you´ll like the atmosphere and a good and cold German brew.
